Evelyn Petroski is a portrait artist based in Tulsa.
Her specialty is painting people on the spot. With her experience from painting many hundreds of people Evelyn works with sitters to find the most flattering pose and lighting that will capture the sensitivity and personality unique to each individual. Many of her best paintings are finished in a three or four hour sitting which helps to free-up the clients busy schedule.
She is a Commercial Illustrator, Commissioned Artist, Courtroom Artist, Event Painter and Instructor. Evelyn began painting portraits as a child and paints every chance she gets with live models. Petroski's preferred medium is watercolor but is an accomplished artist with all fine art mediums.
As a courtroom artist Evelyn's court-scenes from high-profile cases have been shared by local and national news media companies. (Fox 23, CNN, Tulsa World, Channel 2, 6, 8 and Frontier). Always painting, Evelyn honed her speed while meeting deadlines in commercial art and as a courtroom artist.
Her commissioned portraits can be found in offices and homes across the country, in the Woolaroc Museum, at OU and in the Tulsa University Business Law School.
